3DCHIMERA
BRANDON + 3DCHIMERA / A ROLE DISCUSSION

Let’s turn more
opportunities into
more business.

A proposal for how I can evolve my current position into the role 3DChimera needs to support sales and move the business forward.

Here’s my idea
FIND → CREATE → MOVE
01 / FINDA relevant account.
Research → reason to reach out
02 / CREATE

01 / THE IDEA

Find the Opportunity.
Create What It Needs.
Move It Forward.

A different version of the role you’re hiring for.
Built around what I already do well.

How this connects to the role +

I can own more of the prospecting, outreach, first conversations, and follow-up, while continuing marketing and creative. We bring in you or the technical team when the work calls for it.

01 / FIND THE OPPORTUNITY

Start with the leads.
Then find more.

Provided leads first, including SOLIDWORKS. Then existing customer data and AI-assisted prospecting.

What I’d take on +

Research companies, spot a relevant need, target new accounts, and re-engage past contacts where it makes sense. Then personalized outreach and consistent follow-up.

AI helps organize and find patterns. I check the information and decide who we should contact and why.

Next: create what they need

02 / CREATE WHAT SALES NEEDS

Need something
to help sell it?
I make it.

A page. A video. A case study.
This is where my creative work becomes a sales advantage.

And the rest of the marketing? +

Newsletters, email campaigns, social content, presentations, PDFs, and follow-up materials stay with me. A technical PDF gets technical input before it goes out.

AI supports the process. The creative direction, production, and quality are still my responsibility.

Next: move the conversation forward

One offer. A page that helps explain it.

03 / MOVE THE OPPORTUNITY FORWARD

Have the conversation.
Keep it moving.

I qualify the need, handle initial conversations, and keep the next step clear. When it gets technical, I bring in the right person.

Where does the handoff happen? +

It depends on the opportunity. I may handle more of a simple, well-defined offer using agreed scope and pricing. Complex engineering, demos, equipment selection, and technical proposals need specialist input.

Alex or another salesperson may lead final negotiation and close. I stay involved with follow-up and support, and can grow into more as I learn.

How I keep it grounded +

Check sources. Flag unknowns. Review messaging. Pause follow-up on replies and respect opt-outs. I’m responsible for the system and the decisions it supports.

04 / PUT IT TO WORK

Two places
to start.

One works leads we already have.
One actively sells a focused service.

Do more with
the leads you get.

Research the company. Make contact. Follow up. Start the conversation.

  1. SOLIDWORKS lead arrives.
  2. Research the company, decision makers, work, and likely need.
  3. Prioritize and create relevant outreach.
  4. Follow up, qualify, and have the first conversation.
  5. Bring in technical support when needed.
  6. Support the quote and close. Track the result.
05 / WHAT COUNTS

How we judge the results +

Agree a baseline, what “qualified” means, who owns the next step, and how shared wins get credited. Likes, opens, and followers help diagnose. Pipeline and business are the main measures.

06 / THE FIRST 90 DAYS

Pick one. Test it.
Build on what works.

DAYS 1–15

Plan & build.

Choose the offer. Set the goal. Build the first version.

The setup +

Agree audience, responsibilities, pricing or qualification rules, content, CRM tracking, and technical support.

DAYS 16–45

Run & measure.

Work real opportunities. See what moves.

The weekly review +

Review outreach, responses, first conversations, quotes, and feedback. Keep the next action and owner clear.

DAYS 46–90

Iterate & validate.

Improve the approach. Decide what’s worth expanding.

What we learn +

Adjust the audience, message, offer, and follow-up. Compare with the baseline. Track sales while recognizing some deals take longer than 90 days.

07 / THE ROLE

Let’s talk
about the role.

I’d like 3DChimera to become my primary professional focus.
More ownership. A flexible, mostly remote structure. Clear results.

THE LEVEL OF ENGAGEMENT

A starting point for the expanded role.

CURRENT MARKETING ENGAGEMENT$2,000/month

Current marketing and creative support.

POSTED SALES ROLE BUDGET$90K–$120K/base

Plus uncapped commission for the full-cycle B2B sales position.

This would be a significant expansion and a different mix of responsibilities. Scope, compensation, and commission are still to be agreed.

What I own. Where I need support. +

Marketing and creative continue. I add prospecting, research, outreach, follow-up, qualification, first conversations, and pipeline tracking. We agree priorities, availability, and when technical or sales support joins.

I’m not coming in as an applications engineer, a deeply technical SOLIDWORKS salesperson, or an experienced capital-equipment closer. We can expand my ownership as I learn.

What success and working together look like +

Judge the work by output, opportunities, pipeline, and sales support. Agree regular check-ins, customer response expectations, and when I’m needed on site.

Configured systems can keep tasks moving between work sessions. I still own the oversight and response. We choose a title after the responsibilities are clear.

You know the sales side.
I know what I can build to support it, sustain it, and help it grow.

Let’s figure out where that combination helps most.
